Great toy! My daughter loves it, BUT!! After playing in it for 3 months she found she loves the toy that spins and make a ratcheting noise, it changes color as she spins it to or away from her, but she was holding the side of the toy while pulling it toward her so the toy would spin and make the ratchety sound and it pinched her finger very hard and left a bruise on the nail, she was upset and pulling on the toy which pinched her finger even more which increased the pressure. We were able to get her finger out and are replacing this toy with another found in replacement parts on the website. Great toy but beware the spinning ratchety sounding toy on the toy deck!!
I was given this baby walker to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby tested this at 11 months old. The design is cute. It was easily assembled within 5 minutes. When assembling, you will notice there are 2 different types of wheels. The wheels in the front are 360° spinners and the back wheels appear to only go forward. While my baby has gotten good at maneuvering in the walker, it is not as easily mobile as it could be. I think it would work better if all 4 wheels were the 360° wheels that were also bigger. I do think the toys are fun, but at my baby's older age, the toys were only played with the first day. We do occasionally dance to the music button when he presses it. The tunes are classic lullabies and other old school songs. Due to the size of the wheels and the base of the walker, it gets stuck going over door thresholds into other rooms. The walker itself is convenient to put the baby in and keep them mostly out of trouble. Unsurprisingly, my mischievous baby eventually figured out how to open cabinets while in the walker. I think the main pro of the product is the freedom you can get back by letting your baby roam while you do tasks around the house. I don't think this walker is the best on the market due to inability for the baby to really move the way they want to move and go where they want to go. I would rate the product 3 out of 5 stars. It is just okay.
This walker was the perfect next step for my 9-month-old baby. She's been crawling for about 2 months and is pulling herself to stand but is not ready to take steps. I didn't use a walker for my first but I needed some sort of containment for my speedy baby while my toddler still occupies some of my time. My favorite feature is the size of the tray so that I can dole out snacks while she's entertained with the toys and not have to worry about them being spilled on the floor or easy access for the dogs. Putting together the walker was super simple and easy to do. There were no tools necessary aside from a screwdriver to remove the battery panel for one of the toys. There is a decent amount of resistance on the wheels. I think that it's a nice thing because it keeps my baby from flying around but she does have issues getting around on carpeted surfaces, including rugs. I think that that can change as her legs get stronger though! We mostly use it for a activity center anyways, but love that it gives her the opportunity to put her feet flat on the ground and practice standing! We're on the very bottom notch so there's still lots of adjustability left! We are still probably at least two months out from actually having a walking baby so I know we're going to get plenty more use out of this even after she is taking steps. My 2-year-old also crawls into it every chance that she can because she loves playing with the Minnie mouse toy. All in all I would recommend it for anybody who's looking for a walker unless your house is mainly high pile carpet! Thanks to Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this Walker to test out!
I will start with the positives. It's a cute design. The Minnie mouse design isn't over the top, it's pretty and simple. It's a nice compact size and my 9 month old fits in it well. She's 20lbs and wears 12-18 month clothes. She's on the lowest setting with room to grow. She absolutely loves the toys. Of all the container type items I have for her the Minnie mouse walker has her favorite toys. She loves the one that sings and lights up and she loves the spinning mirror. The toys grab and hold her attention for a long time. The cons: it was pretty difficult to assemble and the instructions weren't very clear. The bracket that allows you to raise and lower the seat is extremely difficult to use. It is in its lowest setting now and I think I'll need my husband to ever move it up. The overall item doesn't feel very sturdy. I was concerned when I was attaching the toys I was going to break the whole thing. The back wheels are extremely stiff. They actually don't appear to roll but rather scoot across the floor. There is no way the baby could move this walker and I don't think she'll ever be able to. I'm glad stellar product testing panel sent this to me to test. We will use it as a stationary toy for her to sit in. She really likes it. But I definitely have some concerns with the item quality and design overall.
My daughter loves this walker but has a really hard time pushing it when she walks. She has special needs so we feel some of that difficulty may be because of that. With that said, the toys occupy her for a good hour and I like the fact that it is adjustable.
