Medela PersonalFit Breast Shields, 36mm, Clear, 87084, Set of 2

My areola stillgets sucked into there a lot, and can make pumping uncomfortable. Well made and gets the jib done, I'd just love to see medela come out with a smaller option. It doesnt seem like this is almost any different in sizing from the 24mm shields

I bought this due to thinking that the standard size was too big. I looked at the sizing recommendation in my breast pump books and thought this size would be a better fit. Turns out I was wrong. Big time. One use and my nipples were bleeding. Eh well lesson learned. Definitely going to return these.

Bought these being they are the smallest size offered. I have very small nipples considering I am very large busted. They are still too big and get a lot of the areola. I am planning on buying smaller ones from another company that fits my pump. Main thing is to make sure you measure properly and buy accordingly. Any size under 18mm would probably not fit.

Came home with the standard 24mm and larger breast shields from the hospital and soon discovered that I'm way more petite than the average new momma. I needed smaller shields for proper, painless pumping. Thank goodness the website is easy to navigate and that I was able to order the smaller shields. I still think a smaller size is needed, but this the smallest available. Why not offer all three sizes with the hospital issued medela packs though?

Complete lifesaver finding the right size shield! There's no more pain while pumping, I'm getting more milk, no more clogged ducts, and I feel like my breasts are actually emptying now. The pictures Medela provides in their manual helped me figure out the standard shield was too big. The shipping was rather quick as well, 3 days I believe was all. Beyond happy with this purchase!
