MAM Comfort Pacifier, 0-3 Months, Unisex, 2 pack

I love that this pacifier was small and not big and bulky like some pacifiers are. The air holes limit redness and chaffing from the moisture that can build up. I also like that the pacifier is clear, makes it sleeker and and not covering my daughter’s entire mouth. I do wish there was a bigger hole for your finger to fit because when they are infants they need to learn how to hold the pacifier in. The sterilizing case they came in was great. Most brands do this nowadays and I love it. So helpful to remind you to keep those suckers clean! The overall appearance makes these clean looking and from getting discolored from wear and tear. The nipple was perfect size for my newborn as well. A lot of time the nipple is too big or oddly shaped that it makes it difficult for the baby to use, not this time! I am a second time mom with a 3 ½ year old boy and a newborn baby girl. I introduced the MAM pacifier to my little girl on her second night. No one warned me (and apparently, I forgot) that night 2 was the hardest night to get through. It was 4:30 in the morning and I had not yet gotten sleep because she was being so fussy. I originally wasn’t going to introduce a pacifier until at least a few weeks in because I’ve heard about the importance of waiting past 6 weeks when breastfeeding. However, my sanity dictated otherwise. After hours of no sleep and constant crying, I finally remembered I had these MAM pacifiers and I immediately grabbed one. My baby took to it right away and I was able to get some sleep. The size of these pacifiers is perfect for my 7lb newborn. She is now 3 weeks old; we continue to use the pacifier and baby girl loves it. A few days after introducing this pacifier I realized that I have several other types of pacifiers that I tried with my son and so I’ve given those her to as well just to see which she prefers and she and I both definitely prefer the MAM. I really like that the MAM doesn’t fall out of her mouth as often as other brands. It must be something about the notch on the outside that is perfect for her awkward hands. I’ve noticed she tends to knock her fist into the pacifier and perhaps it is the angle of the notch, but the MAM pacifier doesn’t seem to fall out as easily as other brands. I also really like the bright green color. It doesn’t actually glow in the dark, but the color reminds me of glow-in-the-dark green and it’s really easy to find at night, which I never thought about before having this pacifier. Now it seems like such an obvious feature to have. As far as the comfortability of the product, there are air holes around the pacifier. Her face stays dry and she doesn’t get red skin under the pacifier at all. The package that the two pacifiers came in doubles as a container to sterilize the pacifiers in the microwave, but as a second time mom with a crazy toddler, I don’t sterilize anything so I don’t really use it. Even though I have about 10 different pacifiers in my home, I’ll definitely be purchasing some more of these so we don’t have to keep moving the two we have to all of her favorite places. As a first time mom who is exclusively breastfeeding, I’ve been hesitant to introduce a pacifier to my son. It is one of those items that is hard to navigate due to there being so many out there that claim to be good for this reason or another. We received a couple of different styles of pacifiers as baby shower presents but when it came time to try them out, baby boy wanted nothing to do with them. The last pacifier that we tried was the MAM Comfort Pacifier that was gifted to us through the weeSpring Parent Panel. Right away I noticed that the nipple of this pacifier was much more similar to my own nipple than any other pacifier we had tried. I love that the container the pacifier came in doubled as a sterilizer box. The instructions for sterilizing were super easy to follow! The pacifier is lightweight and I love that it is fully made of silicone! Overall, I love the small design, ergonomic air holes, and the fact that my baby actually likes this pacifier! I would definitely recommend and am glad to have finally found the right pacifier for us.

Since I have used MAM pacifiers with my older kids I was excited to receive this pacifier to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I really like the design of this silicone pacifier. It is similar to the MAM newborn pacifier in shape, one difference is the nipple size is a bit smaller. I like how it is made from one piece of silicone, this prevents water/saliva from getting inside of the nipple. It is very lightweight and would be a great pacifier for newborns.

WeeSpring Parent Panel sent me these MAM Comfort Pacifiers to try and review, and I am so glad they did! As parents of one already that uses a pacifier and has since she was born we knew we were open to giving our second baby a pacifier as well. However, as a mom I always am worried about what is the best brand and how it will work out when first introduce one, especially with breastfeeding! Well it was just my luck that on our first trip away with our newborn that I had these in my diaper bag because as soon as we hit the highway baby was losing it! I grabbed the MAM Comfort Pacifier and popped it in, and it worked like a charm! The design made for newborns made it easy for him to latch onto and actually hold in his mouth and also did not cause him to gag like some pacifiers do especially with newborns! Although he didn’t keep it in his mouth for long it was enough to lull him to sleep for the remainder of our ride. Another thing that came in handy from MAM is the convenient to go sterilizer box, you never know when you will drop the pacifier or when big sister might decide to use it as a sand toy! Overall I love the pacifier and would recommend to all my friends who ask!
