I love the Dr. Browns baby bottles, however for this particular style, I am not a fan. I have always used this name brand and never had any issues. I was extremely excited to try the wide-neck bottle as I am breastfeeding and supplementing. I am disappointed that this bottle does not hold up to the company/brands reputation
I am so dissapointed of Dr. Brown's Wide-Neck bottles because leaks all over the place, I cannot send it to the day care because by the time my baby is going to be feed 2 oz of the bottle are gone due to the leak. I cannot storage milk on it due to the leak, while I am feeding my baby there is milk everywhere. I am not using this bottles never again, sorry for the comment but I feel so mad that this bottles are wasting my breastmilk. I try for 3 months but today I am done with this bottles.
My first baby had terrible acid reflux and would cry a lot and projectile vomit after eating. I tried many other top brand bottles that also had a venting system. The Dr. Brown bottles are the only ones that turned things around for us, my son stopped vomiting after eating, was happier and much more comfortable, he hardly spit up after switching to Dr. Browns. So of course for my second baby I choose Dr. Brown bottles, last time I used the thin bottles but this time I got the wide neck and thin bottles. The thin bottles I had a lot of problems with leaking, my son was ok with the thin bottles but loved the wide neck nipples ( ate better, didn't fight with the nipple, was able to get a great latch verses the thin bottles). I also love the wide neck bottles, it's easy to hole and very comfortable, I also like the cap that keeps the bottle from leaking while traveling! I recently tried the new options bottles and had terrible luck. I have only used them with the vent system in and my son is miserable after eating and full of gas. He cries, burps constantly during and after eating, he also spits up like crazy when using the options bottles . . . The vent system just doesn't seem to work in these bottles compared to the traditional Dr. Browns vent systems. He had none of these problems when using the original vent system bottles. I was very disappointed! We are going to stick with the original wide necks, they are amazing!!! Only complaint is the numbers are hard to see on these bottles.
I brought these bottles for my newborn for the simple fact that i was both bottle and breast feeding him so that he won't get confused. Everytime i use these bottles i have to use like three bibs because it leaks so much and soaks his clothes and ends up in his hair. I should've just went with the regular dr.brown bottles. I wish i could get my money back from these useless bottles. A waste of money. I really dont recommend the wide neck bottles
I did all my research regarding anti colic bottles and settled on the Dr Brown wide neck bottles as I am still pumping. However, they leak terribly. I have tried tightening the lids but it doesn't seem to help. I hate that my child is soaked even through her bib every time she eats.
