Avery Ready Index 12 Tab Dividers, Customizable TOC, 6 Sets (11196)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They work well with bright colors to easily see. I like that the holes punched in them are reinforced and the you can reuse the labels a few times. They work well with all the notebooks I have used them in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to receive the Avery(R) Ready Index(R) 12 Tab Binder Dividers, Customizable Table of Contents, Contemporary Multicolor Tabs, 1 Set (11843) in the mail recently for me to sample and review. I have utilized Avery products for a long time, at least since my college studies through new office jobs and, now, being self-employed in my own office space. Much like their other dividers, the colorful and sturdy sheets greatly enhance and simplify the organization of papers in a three ring binder. These dividers can be used for different school subjects (if you're still young) or even the separating of bills, receipts, statements, forms, etc. (if you are slightly older). Obviously, the twelve tabs are perfect for any recurring monthly documents. I have three of the five tab divider packs from Avery, in which I use them to organize recipes articles and puzzle games. Avery makes great printer labels, enclosure stickers, and (as previously mentioned) three ring binders, too. I only have one problem with the Avery(R) Ready Index(R) 12 Tab Binder Dividers, Customizable Table of Contents, Contemporary Multicolor Tabs, 1 Set (11843). There is no plastic, or thicker, paper/card board divider for the back of all the papers that you put in between the other colorful dividers. I still have the very first 5 set dividers that I must have bought twenty years ago and the set came with an 8.5" by 11" frosted plastic divider. There was no tab sticking out; only three holes on a frosted sheet of plastic. The customer would place it at the very back of the three ring binder to prevent the papers from being torn or the ring holes from being ripped. Unfortunately, this plastic end piece is not provided anymore by Avery, or by any other company, that I know of, for that matter. That solo drawback makes the difference for me between a very good product and an excellent one. Much like phone booths, phone directories or, even, landlines; it looks like this feature is gone forever. Ah, yes, the good ole' days. However, I am still a fan and a loyal customer of Avery. I can hope and wish, though, that this handy attribute comes back into style.

These are colorful and therefore make it easy to find the tab you are looking for. They work great in my binder.
