Got this a couple of weeks ago. Was dreading trying to set it up, but it all working straight away. Very happy. Quality good too, just what I was needing.
We deliberated over several different makes of multi-function printers before settling on this one. We were not disappointed, the print speed and quality is very good especially when printing photo quality. The unit is fairly easy to operate and so far we are still using the original ink cartridges supplied with the machine three weeks after purchase. We would definitely recommend this as a "good buy".
I upgraded from a laser to this printer so I could print and scan A3 and I am very pleased. Still getting to grips with the paper trays and operation but it has a lot of features so not surprised. I went for this version as it has a dedicated A3 tray which has proved a good decision. My last printer was also a Brother and I remain impressed.
Bought for home-office as I'm self employed, as an upgrade from A4 capability. This is the first Brother printer I've had, and can't fault it so far - having used all functions on the device, as well as several size/ quality of papers too. It handles everything well, and with a wired connection the jobs start instantly and are quick to roll out from the printer. Only minor grumbles are that very rarely it rolls two sheets not one so the printing is split across two pieces of paper (maybe my paper is too cheap quality?); and that the A3 paper holder sticks out of the printer itself with a somewhat flimsy 'lid' (I had expected A3 paper to fit within the broad confines of an A3 printer?). Other than that I'd highly recommend, and when in hopefully many years to come I look to upgrade/ replace I will certainly look at Brother models first.
This is a big printer so definitely more for office than home use. Easy to set up and install Does what it's suppose to and to a good quality Ink lasts a little longer than our last printer too We brought it as it could print A3 too which it does to a good quality.
