The taste gets some getting used to, but it works well. Using some other pre-workouts and getting the jitters and heart racing above normal, I had to find something else and more natural. Found this project and have to give a try. It works well, not too much and not too little. Low sugar, so you are not working off the sugar intake from the product, and depending on the hour, it does not keep me awake all night.

Today was my first time using this Pre-Workout powder and it was AWESOME. does it taste good? No. But I'm not drinking this for fun, I drink it for FUNCTION, and it functioned well! I workout at Orangetheory (HIIT workouts) and it definitely increased my energy during the cardio portion and the lifting portion. Definitely adding this to my routine. Don't buy this cause it tastes good, buy it cause it WORKS good. :)

I love Garden of Life products and im sad to say I came across the first product that I do not like at all. Has a medicinal cherry taste to the point where I had to plug my nose to drink it. I will be gladly going back to the energy and focus with the sugar (blackberry lemon i think) as that one is significantly better tasting.

I recently purchased it despite all the reviews saying it is grainy. I am so glad I did because I LOVE it!!! I did experience the grainy texture when pouring it in a regular water bottle and shaking it, so I purchased a shaker bottle. I mix mine about an hour before the gym and shake intermittently for 30min. I have no issues with grainy texture with this method. The taste is tolerable. As far as the effects, I find I am far more motivated, focused, and push myself harder than before I started this. I can no longer imagine going to the gym without drinking this first. My husband also tried it and was pleased that it didn't cause him to feel jittery. 100% recommend trying it!!

Natural products for energy haven't helped much for me in the past, so I wasn't expecting much with this. But WOW! This is my new go-to preworkout! I can power through a 45-60 minute cardio/strength workout at dawn when I take this, feeling like I could have done more. Without it, I'm losing momentum after 20-30 minutes. If you're making the switch from traditional preworkout mixes, know that this won't give you "the tinglies" that you're used to (and that's okay!) and while that it doesn't taste like candy, it's not unpleasant and it's easy to get down mixed with 12oz water in a shaker bottle. Bottom line, I LOVE that this isn't loaded with chemicals and that it works as well as (perhaps even better than) preworkouts that I've used in the past. I'll be back for more!
