Equate Extra Strength Headache Relief Acetaminophen, Aspirin, Caffeine Caplets, 200 Count

there is nothing that I have found that makes this any different than regular Excedrin and that's awesome because it's a lot cheaper. why would you pay full price for something you can get the same thing cheaper?!

Normally - this is a great and very affordably priced generic for excedrin. BUT, I recently purchased a batch that had the expiration date July 2026 with a very strong chemical smell and taste (other reviewers describe it tasting like chlorine and I agree but it's a very intense bitter chemical taste). Both 24 caplet jars from that batch had the same issue and as soon as I realized it was limited to that batch, I threw them out (unfortunately I'd already taken some thinking it was a new formulation). A subsequent batch dated August 2026 is back to normal - so I suspect something in quality control went off for the July 2026 expiration batch. If you take it and notice a distinct taste that wasn't there before - check the bottle. I'm not sure if it's bad, but not taking my chances taking any more of those in case some component has gone rancid.

I get headaches and the Excedrin and the equator at the same ingredients. I liked it better when the two pack was in equal and 200 equate Excedrin. but I buy a lot of the equator and the $1.27 which is an excellent price. it's the only thing that works in my headaches not even heavy duty medicine worse my headaches.

I have bought this product in the past several times and have never had an issue till the last time I purchased it and I will never buy this product again. I opened the product and it had a weird chemical smell that you can't get past the smell to even take them. The next time o went into Walmart every bottle was gone and the shelf stayed empty for several weeks. Makes you wonder if there was a recall or something.

it was $4.00 for 200 tablets until several months ago it was raised to $4.97. now the packaging has been changed at it cost $8.98 for 100 tablets. does the new packaging hold pills that are more effective? can't understand why just a change in package makes the price so high.
