Canon - PIXMA MegaTank G7020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - Black

i ORDER THIS PRODUCT HTRU WLAMART.COM ANC HAD PROBLEMS WIHT IT THE 1ST DAY I TRIED TO PRINT SOMETHING. AFTER TALKING TO A TECH, WITH CANNON; AND WALKING ME THRU ALL THE STEPS FOR SET UP THE PRINTER IT WORKED GREAT. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STARTED TO HAVE ISSUES AROUND THE 5H OR 6TH OF JULY AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WCOULD NOT FIX IT. THAT BEING SAID i WAS TOLD TO SEND IT CANNON. I WAS TOLD BY THE CANNON PEOPLE THAT THEY WOULD SEND ANOTHER PRINTER TO ME ONCE i RETURNED THE BROKEN ONE. BUT HTEN i WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD CONTACT WALMART REGARDING THE PROBLEMI WAS HAVING AND TELL THEM WHAT CANNON HAD SAID ANDASK FOR A REFUND FROM THEM. SO THIS IS WHAT I DID. SINCE TAKLKING WITH WALLMART. i HAVE BEEN TOLD DSEVA; DIFFERENT THINGS. SUCK=H AS THE REEFUND WAS PAID ON 7/31/2024. IT WAS NOT DEPOSITED TO MY ACCOUNT.ON THAT DAY AND HAS NOT SHOWN UP SINCE THEN EITHER. I WAS TOLD MY 1 YOUNG MAN THAT THEY WOULD EMAIL ME WITH WHAT WENT ON. THAT WAS 5 DAYS AGO. NO EMAIL HAS BEEN RECEIVED. i F]INALY CALLED TO DAY ADN GOT THE PEOPLE WHO ISSSUE THE REFUNDS. THEY SAID THERE WERE ISSSUED ON THE RETURN OF THE ITEM. %231 -BEING THAT I RETURNED A DIFFERENT ITEM THAN I BOUGHT. AND %232 - THERE WAS AN INK LEAK AND IT HAD GONE ALL OVER THE PRINTER. i TOLD THEM AT THAT TIME THAT I HAD RETURNED THE PRINTER WHICH i HAD RECEIVED, ON JUNE 12TH. AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT SENDING IT BACK WITH INK STILL IN IT, I WAS TOLD IT JUST TO LEAVE THE INK IN THE MACHINE AND DOUBLE BAG IT BEFORE PUTTING IT BACK IN THE ORIGINAL BOX AND SENDING IT TO ONE OF YOUR REUTRN CENTERS. SO, IF THE INK WAS SPILLED IT WAS NOT MY FAULT. i WAS ALSO TOLD TO SENDIT BACK BY FEDERAL EXPRESS. WHICH I DID ON 8/7/2024. THAT WAS THE DATE I WAS GIVEN TO HAVE IT RETURNEED BY. WHICH IT GOT THERE THAT SAME DAY. SO ..... - CONSEQUENTLY, I SITLL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND ON THE PRINTER, THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT I WAS SUPOSED TO RETURN THE PRINTER BY A DATE IN JULY. WHICH I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF. SO I AM NOT GOING TO SAY THAT THIS WAS A GOOD BUY. AND I THINK THAT WALMART.COM SUCKS.

I purchased the Pixma G7020 printer because it is a Canon product and because it is a wireless MegaTank printer. The ink doesn't cost hundreds of dollars and no one is counting the number of pages i print. The set up manual is written clearly and i like the fact that the print heads are easy to install / replace in the event of future issues. It's not the fastest printer in the world but for home office use it's perfect. The installation disks worked perfectly and i use the printer with my computer and Apple I-pad. I purchased a second G7020 for my sister and would recommend it without any reservations.

I wanted a mega tank printer for awhile, so after research i chose The PIXMA G7020, I don't know if I will use the FAX but it is a nice feature to have.I Have a PIXMA MG7120 which I plan to keep as it has features that I use and it is an awesome printer, and finally my PRO=100 for the larger projects. I trust Canon an s far all the products are great. The only thing with the PIXMA G7020 is the screen is not back lit and for a senior it is a little hard to see. and working through the menus lets you see all the features.

Disconnected from my wireless network every day. No one should be required to re-install a wireless connection to print. The print quality was good but I sent it back for a refund, chose another “tank” competitor and this one is without wireless issues.

I haven't had the printer (Canon G7020) long enough to evaluate it, but every other Canon product I've used has been highly satisfactory: I marked the one down fro m stars because of the lack of good, easy-to-follow setup directions. I'm not a total novice about computers etc., but after spending much of a couple days on it I haven't succeeded in setting up all the features I want to use. When the enclosed Quick Start manual plus the online manual didn't do it for me I thought I'd talk with a Canon rep, but I couldn't find a way to make contact.
