No longer works! As other reviewers have pointed out they changed the shape (now square) and possibly the formula or quality to where it doesn't work nearly as well as it used to. I've been taking this brand and dosage for years and it always worked well until they made the change. Now I have bad reflux episodes almost ever day. Will be looking for another option. Walmart QC should have caught this.

Well, I was quite shocked and pleased to get this on the same day that I ordered it. I never dreamed it would come, being this close to Christmas. I listened to the phone call and was amazed. Am I in the Twilight Zone? It doesn't get much better than this.

I had been a Zantac user for the past 30 years, and you know what happened to end that. After research I decided to try 20mg Famotidine tablets. I've had to hunt around at times to find almost any generic brand (usually the only Famotidine left on the shelves is the name brand and you can guess why). I decided to stop hitting stores with the poorly stocked shelves and when online. Walmart had the best deal with the best price and a reasonable amount of tablets (my old prescription Zantac was for 200 tablets for a 100-day supply). Walmart also shipped very quickly. Thanks!

My dog has acid reflux and has for many years. Her vet suggested Pepcid (active ingredient is Famotidine). When I found these at Walmart, I was so happy. Pepcid is very overpriced (paying for the name). This is the same medication at a much more affordable price. As someone living on a very fixed income, I'm so grateful that this product is available and affordable through Walmart!

Arrived on time. Equate famotidine 20 mg is exactly the same as 20mg Pepcid at a cheaper price! The pharmacy stopped carrying Pepcid 20 mg so we get this over the counter famotidine. We have to take 2 at a time to get our prescription dose of 40 mg. The only downside for me is that my insurances don't cover over the counter meds. I am a retired RN. who cannot take Prilosec but can this Equate Famotidine.
