I tried the Equate maximum strength hydrocortisone cream recently and I liked it. It works great, just like any name brand. I have extremely dry skin prone to bouts of eczema, and sometimes I have to use an anti-itch medicated cream instead of lotion. This was a great stand in for prescriptions I have used in the past. I have a couple of dry itchy spots that have been their for years, one on my left knee and one on my pointer finger. The itching is the worst, because I scratch and scratch and then end up with broken skin, this equate anti itch cream with intensive healing really helps. It’s gets rid of the itch and hydrates my dry spots. My knee has gotten so much better, it’s not dry and flaky anymore. My finger doesn’t heal because I wash my hands a lot but this cream does calm the itch which is awesome so no broken skin. It has a nice light texture, absorbs really well with no greasiness and funny smell. I like that this cream is a multi tasker. This product works exactly as advertised. It works really fast and alleviates itching due to rough dry skin and eczema very effectively. It gives relief almost immediately (within minutes) after application and a thin layer is enough to do the job. It is very easy to apply, it isn’t greasy, and it has no odor.
