Maybelline Ultra Brow Brush On Color, Dark Brown

I have very thin brows due to hair loss so I need a good brow powder that will stay on all day and look natural. This does the trick for me. It goes on easily, yet stays on all day until I wash it off at night. I never need to touch up my brows throughout the day with this product. I do put a moisturizer on my face first, before applying my foundation and brow powder. I think the moisturizer along with the foundation helps the powder adhere to my brows better. This product lasts a long time. I think the last one I had lasted almost two years. A little goes a long way. But just in case they ever decide to discontinue this product, I recently purchased three of them to make sure I'm stocked up for a while.

I have used Maybelline eyebrow powder (with brush) for several years now. Last year, I went to my local pharmacy to purchase more, since I had run out of it, and couldn't find it anywhere in the cosmetics section. When I asked a clerk where the product was kept, she told me that Maybelline had discontinued making this product. I went on an extensive search for more at many of my local stores that carried cosmetic products and couldn't find this product on their shelves. I bought an eyebrow pencil and tried to get used to that, but it never created the natural look that the brush on powder did. I tried a gel and still didn't like that. I finally resorted to try an internet search for Maybelline eyebrow powder and found that E-Bay had it for $10+. I continued my search and found that Walmart had it for $4.97. I immediately ordered 10 in my usual color--light brown. I am overjoyed that Walmart had this product on-line, as they didn't have it in their stores. I now can apply my eybrow makeup in an artistic fashion and create a natural looking eyebrow that is the same color as my hair. I absolutely love this product and can't understand why Maybelline decided to stop making this product. It is far superior to any other eyebrow makeup I've ever tried using.

This has been my go to eyebrow shaper for 20 years. Medium brown color would work well with a variety of skin/hair color combinations. Included brush is a bit small and hard to handle so you may opt to use a separate full size brow brush to apply powder. One caution: plastic hinges are weak and can break easily.

I like this powder because I can gently blend it in my brows to avoid a sharp defined fake line. I love it for a natural look yet to define my brows filling in where there is little hair.

I am so glad that Walmart still offers this excellent product. I've been using it on my thinning eyebrows for years and was saddened to find out that Maybelline has discontinued it. I now have three packs and feel they will last me till the end of my life. (I just turned 59.) I just bought the light brown to use for the daytime and I will use my dark brown for evening. Shame on Maybelline for discontinuing the only good eyebrow powder around. The other day I found a pack I had stashed away years ago for traveling. I applied it ... and it is just like new.
