Vornado ZIPPIBLK Zippi Black Personal Fan

The Zippi is a great fan and it moves good air especially at my desk. The only thing I'm not a fan of (no pun obviously), is the motor gets really hot. I think it's because it has ventilation in the front and back, but the vents in the front are covered with the blade. I do have a different fan (not vornado) that gets so hot you can't even pick it up to move it, so now I use this one instead since it's super quiet. The motor getting hot isn't the end of the world since it takes it a good 7 hours of running time for it to get hot, so it's good. Thanks again for a great product. :)

Had one of these from years ago and it finally died. Was so happy to see you still had them. Love my Zippi. So quiet and safe on my nightstand!

I use the Zippi as a personal desk fan. It's overall good, quiet, easy to travel with if needed, and love the cloth blades. I do wish it was a bit more powerful, with the size of it, I figured it would push more CFM. Please make another version of this model with a bit more power/CFM...I'LL buy it.

I bought my ZIPPI three years ago...it's time to "give back" and write about a product I love. My home office isn't air conditioned so it gets unbearably hot during NYC summers. This cute little "bug" of a fan generates enough cooling breeze that I'm comfortable all summer long sitting at my computer for hours. In addition to keeping me comfortable I also love: (1) it's so small and lightweight that it's almost invisible and easy to store in winter; (2) it's ULTRA-quiet...I usually forget it's on; (3) the stylish modern design and colors (mine is aqua); (4) the fan blades are fabric so you can't accidentally hurt yourself; (5) durable - I've used it almost daily for three summers and it shows no signs of slowing down; (6) inexpensive. I did a lot of online research before buying it which paid off. I love it. Great product - highly recommend.

Normally I don't buy electronics online without seeing the item first at a retail store, but I decided to purchase this little fan based on its reviews, and at such a low price it seemed low risk. I'm very pleased with the purchase! I like the cute design and choice of colors. It's so quiet in both the "low" and "high" positions that my biggest problem is I sometimes forget to turn it off when I leave the room -- which BTW doesn't qualify as a real problem :-). There's enough of a breeze to keep me comfortable at my computer. I have no problems with its stability (which I saw was a concern raised in another review). Very pleased, good value too.
