My sons are very young but daddy is an electrician and had a blast showing the boys how cool this was. They were absolutely amazed at this and learned a lot from it. They tried it with pieces of orange and then soda. Very cool experiment. Daddy absolutely loved it too! The only complaint is the clock piece had a tiny busted piece of plastic on it were the screw held it together so it didn't work as well as it should have. But the point was provided and kids got such a kick out of the experience.

Is a small kit. It brought all the little tools only thing you need is the potatoes. Very easy to follow all the instructions. Very easy to put together and fast to get it set up. Good for kids that like science and put things together and experiment.

Perfect if you need a science project quick or if you have a curious child. Love this, my kid is just a curious soul and wanted to know if a potato can power a clock. Even found out he can try with different fruits and veggies as well so he had a blast doing it.

This is a nice kit with a simple experiment. It was easy for my boys (8 & 11 years old) to do it by them self. They got defiantly excited to try it when they first saw the box, I thought it will keep them busy for a longer time, but in fact it was fast to be done in about 15 minutes. They tried the potatoes and it worked fine but the clock's numbers were so bright, it got way darker and more visible when they tried the tomatoes instead of the potatoes. They enjoyed searching the science fact behind this experiment. I loved the idea that my kids learned something new by playing and having fun. I will sure look for other experiments that is more complicated and suitable for their age.
