SheaMoisture Hair Curling Gel Souffle Coconut & Hibiscus, 12 oz

I always use this product on freshly washed, damp hair. I put my favorite gel on top of this product and it helps to define my curls and it gives me long lasting moisture. My wash and go style lasts up to 10 days, with just spritzing water on my hair. It can give your hair a tacky feeling but that goes away after a couple of days. I don't recommend using this product alone. For reference, my hair is coarse, type 4b-4c, medium density, and short length.

I just got this in April! They have finally fixed the formula to be similar to how it originally was! It's not hard, rubbery, or chunked. It does have a firm feel at first but it mixes in the hands, with no chunks! So thankful they're getting it together again!!

I bought this because my normal styling gel was sold out. This product did work keeping the frizz down and my curls styled. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it or would buy this again. Pros: - Flake free - Kept frizz in control - Curls were moist and not dried at the ends Cons: - It left my hands, neck, and hair greasy and oily - Application wasn't easy because of the jello like texture, you have to scoop it and rub your hands to try and break it down - Even after cleaning off my neck, the greasy substance from the hair product still rubs back onto my neck

Only thing that makes my crazy hair look good. Ive got very long thick curly caucasian hair that this southern humidity makes turn into one big frizz. This stuff, when i happen to get one with the right formula, is great and i love the way it smells. Only prob is they change the formula like most ppl change socks! LOL so u never know if u r going to get the good one or one that is like a sold hard gel that leaves chunks of product in ur hair. Right now ive got a jar that's perfect so im happy.

DO NOT BUY THIS, I REPEAT DO NOT! I was so very upset with this purchase, I read another review before purchase that corroborates my concern but, as I'd bought it before and didn't have a problem, I paid the review no mind and, purchased anyway. I don't know if Shea Moisture changed the formula but, the texture of this gel is horrible, it's almost like putty, I'm NEVER buying this gel again, it's disgusting. I ONLY gave it 1 star because I had to give it a rating.
