Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme, Precious

Having this condition , it's sometimes hard to find a good lipstick that actually covers. My skin test is probably the best you'll find lol it will completely cover my white spots on my Lips but also looks like color. That's the key for me. These mattes live in my vanity !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started wearing this lip color a couple of years ago and still love it. I have fair skin with rosy undertones and like how this shade subtly compliments that. It goes on boldly and smoothly and provides a matte finish. This lasts mostly all day- only requiring touch ups after eating to freshen up the color . I even like to start with a darker red lipstick then layer this on top to tone it down and provide the matte effect. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because I wish it rated better on EWG (It rates a 6/10 which isn't great, especially for something you put on your lips and likely ingest to some extent).

The color SUGAR is deep, sexy and bold! It's alluring and dark - it's for us dungeon girls. I love it! Once applied this lipstick will NEVER move! It's most definitely the mattist lipstick I've ever run across - the finish is almost immediately drying. Which unfortunately is it's downfall. Say you first apply the lipstick with one swipe and then realize you missed some spots- at the this point it's already bone dry and then when you go to reapply onto those missing spots - it leaves like a extra dark mark, so it doesn't leave your lips liking uniform. Also, you must prep your lips. Pre-Chapped lips will guarantee look a disaster with this lipstick. Make sure you lips are baby soft before applying and maybe a tab bit of chapstick before applying. And after that it said and done, SUGAR will look seductively fabulous on your lips!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This color is honestly the only that I love in a liquid matte lipstick. Though I wish the formula would last all day, it is a true matte with no sticky feeling. Pairs well with brown liner and has been an OG for me for years. I really hope they never let this shade go because even though I have to reapply it, the color is one I can never find anywhere else. It matches with everything. No matter what you're wearing.

This matte lip creme is lovely though it's a little darker than the color in the swatch. It has a beautiful creamy texture going on and turns into a pigmented matte within 20 seconds. I smooth it with my finger to take off a tad excess and then it's perfect. I just love it!
