It is a good mask. Just make sure to put enough of the gel in your face so that it's thick, does the job, and is easier to peel off. If you put a light coat, it is very hard for it to suck up all the blackheads, impurities, and dirt. It does not hurt if you take your time. If you rush and try to peel it off fast, then your skin will react and be red. So take your time. It is a very good peel of mask.

I was really excited because I usually use this brand for masks, currently i am 28 weeks pregnant and have not used any mask till now. I decided to put it on and feel good a little, no where on there does it say you may feel burning!!!! Not even a min passed i feel it burning so i got up and washed my face down! My whole darn face is red! And i have a party in 3 hours!

I have combination skin and this does a good job of giving me a thorough weekly cleaning without drying out my skin. It is charcoal, but it's whipped so don't expect to be smearing dark black mud on your face. It's considerably light in color once on your face. I'd recommend trying out only a few minutes on your face. It says up to 5, but I am good with around 3 minutes. It doesn't harden like most masks, it will stay wet. But it gives a good tingle, which is why I can only take about three minutes with it on. After a clean rinse and patting dry, my face feels incredibly clean. My pores look clearer and my face stays oil free for the rest of the day.
