SheaMoisture African Water Mint & Ginger Shea Butter Vegan Lip Balm, .5 fl oz

when I first opened this I had to SQUEEZE the life out of just to get some product out, and about a week later it still takes a lot of squeezing just to get a little product out. other than that I really like this balm, I've been using it pretty much every day since I bought it. I like the smell; it's more mint than ginger, which I appreciate because I'm not a *huge* fan of ginger. and it goes on my lips smoothly. it is thick, so a little definitely goes a long way. my lips feel moisturized, but I do find myself applying this more than other balms, but it's not so bad that I have to reapply every half hour. I usually reapply once in the afternoon and/or evening. in a nutshell, it does its job for me. I like to try animal-free products every so often and this isn't so drastically different from my normal balms that I wouldn't use it again. I'm glad I bought it!

This is amazing lip gloss. Seriously. My girlfriend has stolen two tubes from me and I don't even get mad because I understand!

I love how thick and moisturizing this balm is. When it gets cold, it can be difficult to squeeze out, but overall my favorite balm. Love the scent.

Requires too much force to get out of the tube. It's very inconvenient. Most other reviews for this product say the same thing, so i know it's not just me. Why won't they fix it?! Also, i can't tell a difference in my dry lips tbh. For the price point.. i expect better.

I find that the balm does the job for keeping my lips moisturized, but the packaging needs work. I've purchased three of these so far and they've all had the same fate. The first problem comes from the applicator: the product doesn't come out without me poking a pin through the hole and squeezing really hard. Maybe a larger hole would help, since the product is so thick. Secondly, all of mine have eventually bust at the bottom seam and became really messy.
