e.l.f Cosmetic Essential Lipstick, Classy, 0.12 oz, 2 Ea

i bought the color Nostalgic and online it seemed like a perfect nudelike mostly pink shade. I was really excited about it so as soon as it came I opened it and tried it out, to my surprise the color was chalky, and ashy. It looked almost like a concealer and really light blush blended together and labeled lipstick. I really was disappointed with the color.

It's $1 right? I love deals for a dollar and so I thought I'd give this thing a try. I got the color Posh and I though it was going to be a purple toned kind of color but no, it was cranberry red. This lipstick is pretty good and build able. I was kinda nervous that it would come all broken a weird like some of the reviews said. The tube is definitely cheap, you can just feel it as you turn the tube. Overall I like it and wouldn't mind trying the other colors. :)

This lipstick is one of my ALL TIME FAVE COLORS, but the main con that i have about these lipsticks is that beause they are so cheap they do lack some quality. they are so soft and creamy that al,ost every lipstick of this kind that i order tends to break.

I bought this in the shade classy and was a bit disappointed to find that the shade was completely different from the online picture. It's less of a medium mauve-ish color and more of a cool-toned bubblegum pink. It's actually a very nice color, but it doesn't flatter my warmer skin tone as much as the online picture looked like it would. The quality is alright. It looks a bit patchy and sticks to chapped lip areas. Is it a bad lipstick? No. But would I buy it again? No.

I purchased one online in the shade "Nostalgic" and let me tell you, it does not look like how it is "swatched" online. It is a very light pink that did not show up well when I swatched it (due to my skin tone). I applied it to my lips and was no happy with how it looked. I mixed it with another lipstick and it looked decent. The lipstick in the picture does not like dry but it really is. It is hard to apply due to how dry it is. I usually love elf products, I don't know if I received a bad lipstick or not but I will not be purchasing this again
