e.l.f. Lipstick, Fearless, 0.12 oz

The colors are beautiful so i was super excited about them..but they are very drying and cumbersome to apply. if you have dry skin/ lips I would recommend buying Elf's moisurinizing lipstick instead. The lipstick also had a weird white coating on them

I purchased Classy, Seductive, and Fearless. Classy & Seductive are much lighter when applied & different than what appears on the site. This is based upon my complexion - light with golden undertones and brown/black hair. When using Amazing Cosmetics, my exact match is Light Golden. Attached are some pics of how the shades looked on me with one application, no blotting. Please note, I'm not wearing concealer/foundation so this is my natural skin tone. They are in order left to right: 1) Classy 2) Seductive 3) Fearless (bottom) I do like the colours, but Classy looks more violet and Seductive looks peachy (at least on me) Fearless is the only colour that looks exactly as pictured online and in the tube.

It's $1 right? I love deals for a dollar and so I thought I'd give this thing a try. I got the color Posh and I though it was going to be a purple toned kind of color but no, it was cranberry red. This lipstick is pretty good and build able. I was kinda nervous that it would come all broken a weird like some of the reviews said. The tube is definitely cheap, you can just feel it as you turn the tube. Overall I like it and wouldn't mind trying the other colors. :)

I bought this in Classy, because it's a near perfect dupe for M.A.C. Angel lipstick. For only a buck, this lippie is amazing! Yes, it's not exactly as smooth as some of E.L.F.'s other lipsticks, but it's very good quality and is just as good as some of the more expensive drugstore lipsticks. **Side note: I top Classy with L'Oréal's leGloss lip gloss in 151 Baby Blossom. It's almost exactly the same as Nars Turkish Delight lip gloss. I only mention this because those two colors used together seem to be really popular with local makeup artists.

Ordered this in Posh and I'm very happy with it - beautiful color with good pigmentation, goes on smooth - but I wouldn't recommend using it without a lip balm underneath. It does have an odd drying sensation without a little something between it and your lips. I wear a balm under my lipstick 90% of the time anyway, so this is not really a detraction for me, just something I think is worth noting. Would love to see this in a really dark berry shade as well (I'm on a quest for the perfect dark lipstick; haven't found it yet!).
