e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick, Ravishing Rose

The color Orange Dream lives up to the name! It's very creamy, smooth, and vibrant. It pops on darker skin complexions and is a favorite in my lipstick collection. I'd highly recommend that you purchase it!

Just got this yesterday and the pigmentation is nice when you build up the colour in about 2 or 3 layers. Otherwise the colour coverage is rather poor. Not sure about the moisturizing part though, it seems like every other lipstick I've used. However the pinky nude colour is quite nice, other than the fact that it is in reality lighter than the colour on the packaging, therefore resulting some confusion on if the colour matches my medium skin tone at all. It be nice if it was a little more tinted pink tho.

I BOUGHT PINK MINK AND ORANGE DREAM. THEY BOTH SEEM TO HAVE A DIFFERENT TEXTURE AND SHEEN THOUGH BOTH ARE MOISTURIZING LIPSTICK. PINK MINK IS MORE SHEER AND SHINY AND DUE TO SHEERNES THIS IS NO COLOR PAYOFF. ORANGE DREAM IS BEAUTIFUL, TRUE TO COLOR AND MORE LIKE A CREME LIPSTICK, IT'S TRULY A PRETTY AND TRUE ORANGE. I NORMALLY DON'T GRAVITATE TO ORANGE BUT IT'S HARD TO FIND THIS SHADE AND I BOUGHT TO SOFTEN REDS AND DEEPEN CORALS. IT'S A GREAT BASE SHADE THOUGH BEING BLUE EYED BLONDE I PROBABLY WON'T WEAR BY ITSELF. IF YOU ARE DEEPER IN SKIN TONE OR WITH YELLOW OR RED UNDERTONE THIS IS A NO BRAINER! NOW PINK MINK ON THE OTHER HAND WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING. I BOUGHT 4 LIPSTICKS AND THIS WAS THE ONLY 1 I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN. THE OTHER 2 WAS FROM THE MATTE LIPTICKS IN FLAMINGO AND FUSCHIA FANTASY AND THEY ARE GORGEOUS AND TRUE TO COLOR. INTERESTINGLY THEIR NOT MATTE THEY ARE SATIN WHICH I'M ECSTATIC ABOUT. EVERYONE IS ON THE MATTE BANDWAGON AND BEING POST 40'S IT'S NOT A GOOD LOOK WHEN WE AGE HOWEVER, I LOVED THE COLORS SO MUCH I BOUGHT ANYWAYS AND WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED TO FIND SATIN FINISH. ENJOY ORANGE DREAM, IF YOUR ON THE FENCE ORDER IT!

I have ravishing rose, pink minx, coral cutie, and berry kiss (which i don't think they sell anymore unfortunately) i wish to buy all the colors in the future they are so beautiful and pigmented i get more compliments when i wear these than when i wear my mac lipsticks they are absolutely beautiful and last forever because you don't have to use much to get popping colors i would definitely recommend these especially for dry lips (which i have)

Recently I bought this moisturizing lipstick in the colors Pink Minx and Party in the Buff, and the next colors on my list are velvet rope and wink pink. I held off on buying these because I have a makeup obsession and am a lipstick junkie. I have everything from high end to dollar store lipsticks, and there are just too many for me to keep adding to my collection before I use some of them. I really wish that I had bought these sooner, though. They're the perfect blend of pigmentation, moisturization and classiness. I say classiness because some of their colors, such as Bordeaux Beauty, can be very difficult to find (hmm...maybe I should add this color to my to-be-bought list), yet they're so timeless, sexy and sophisticated it's a wonder why more women don't demand them from cosmetics manufacturers. I just love the excellent quality of these lipsticks; enough good things can't be said about this, because there are some pretty expensive brands out there that don't deliever half of what E.L.F. does, especially when it comes to unique color selection and lasting wear. *Just to add, the colors that I have, Party in the Buff and Pink Minx, are pretty much universal as to who will look great wearing them. They would be great for anyone from fair skin to dark. The Pink Minx is a warm pink with just a tiny hint of different shades underneath, which would be great for both warm and cool skin tones. The Party in the Buff is that perfect peachy nude that would also look good on just about everyone, especially darker skinned women, such as African American.
