Physicians Formula Organic Wear® Dewy Highlighter, Dew Frost

have never been a big fan of makeup. Largely because of the gross amounts of chemicals and perfumes it contains, but also that I don't like the feeling of my skin being suffocated under a layer of stuff. All I wanted was a little healthy, natural glow on my face, without the chemicals. This stick does the trick! The color is subtle on my medium, olive skin tone. The glow isn't overly sparkly so that is doesn't look unnatural, but it definitely gives my skin a healthy dewy look. It applies perfectly right after applying my moisturizer. A little goes a long way, so well worth the $$. Looks great on the lips as well!

This product I was not sure about at first. I haven't found too many highlighters that dont show off my texture and dont look overly glittery. This one showed the texture a little bit but the glow from it was so natural that I did not care about the texture. If I use highlighter this is one of my go tos.

First off, great price and you can literally get it at any drugstore or regular store so instant plus. A little goes a long way and it blends out so smoothly, evenly, and easily. I use it with my stick and liquid foundations, and I even just use it on my bare face (as pictured in the image below- no other foundation type products, just the highlighter and I did one swipe then blended it out and then swiped on another layer and blended it out and that was it!). It looks so natural and gorgeous- it amplifies features without being blinding or being too much. Feels slightly heavy when put on, but light once its blended out. I love that I can apply it with the stick and then simply blend out with my fingers (I wear it everyday almost and dont wear foundation every single day, so my fingers are my go to), foundation brush, or beauty blender. You can also use it as a subtle eyeshadow or to make the inside corner of your eye pop. Ive also used a flat eyeshadow brush to pick up product from the stick and then blend out of my eye and that works great too. I have naturally pink/red cheeks, so this color looks great, but there is another color as well that is more bronzed- would look good for bronzing as well. Lasts a long time as well since a little goes a long way, so even better since its already inexpensive. I love the creamy, stick application in comparison to presses/powder highlighters as it looks more natural, blends more easily, you can wear it without any other makeup products, and it is buidable- you can have a subtle glow or you can layer it up to give a glittery shine to your look! I literally recommend this to all of my friends so wanted to also recommend it on here!!

I am a Fair to Light shade in the new Organic Wear foundation. The Dew Frost shade of highlighter stick would be great for fair/light skin tones. It gives a nice light natural dewy glimmer/shimmer look. Both shades can work as cream eyeshadows, especially Dew Frost on the brow bone and inner corner of eyes. It is buildable but mercifully goes on light at first then blends out easily.
