I was skeptical at first. I've tried everything for my medium-haired cat who sheds EVERYWHERE. I took a chance and bought this and I was not disappointed. It actually de-sheds and de-tangles. I highly recommend this tool and it's the best I have ever purchased. Some tips: Do not aggressively brush your cat with this brush. Slow and even strokes get the most hair. Be careful because if used incorrectly, this can hurt or cause irritation to the cat. Be gentle and the hair will melt off like butter. Don't wash this brush too often. Unless there is dirt or wet hair on the brush, it doesn't need to be rinsed. This wears the brush out quicker. Don't brush the cats's tail hard. Be VERY GENTLE. If you use this brush correctly, it will last you forever.

I have a Maine Coon Cat with a super thick coat of long hair. I have gone through about 100 brushes over the last ten years. This brush is the absolute best I can't believe the fur this thing gets off her and she loved it. When I pickup the shedmonster she runs over to me meowing saying yeah brush me please.

I had to return this bcuz it didn't work. I have 2 cats, one has short hair & 1 has med to long. So this tool didn't work on both of them. I returned it & finally broke down & got the FURminator & the FURminator did the job like a professional. I was originally going to go with the FURminator but bcuz of the price I decided to try an alternative. I have learned my lesson & will not substitute again for the real deal. I really wished this worked but sad to say it didn't for me. It seems I find myself returning a lot of As seen on TV merchandise lately, what's up with that!!?
