Seventh Generation Clean with Purpose Fresh Free and Clear Dishwasher Detergent, 75 oz 1 Count

I've tried using other "clean" dishwasher detergent that left residue on my dishes and my dishwasher but seventh generation never does. What i love about the powder is that it's way cheaper, doesn't have any plastic, and lasts longer. This is my new go to from the tabs!

This product is hypoallergenic and SkinSafe approved! Dishes come out great too! The powder seems to dissolve better than a tablet in my dishwasher. (Maybe use a little less in dishwasher if you need to). If you have asthmatics in the household, or anyone with allergies (from skin issues to hives), it's important to check the ingredients. I so much wanted to like this environmentally friendly product. Compared to Cascade... this is useless as a cleaner. I am being completely objective when I say; useless. I simply do not have time to run four loads to get dishes as clean as a single load of cascade! Who does? Wasting electric and water makes this far less environmental than advertised. If this was the seventh generation formulation, just how bad was the first?

Gets my dishes clean, and it keeps MY fingerprint on the environment a little softer. Discovering that it works better then the non-environmentally friendly products, I'll never go back to C*sc*de. Wonderful product. Isn't the planet worth the effort to preserve and save it?

The quest for a effective, non-toxic, scent-free dishwasher detergent stops here. As one of the few dishwasher detergents that is independently A-rated from EWG and ALSO relatively easy to find, you can feel good about using this product and not leaving harsh chemical residue behind on your dishes(!!). It's also fragrance-free, which is perfect. Ask yourself why dishwasher detergent needs to have a pervasive, artificial lemon (or whatever) smell that sticks around on your dishes, and whether you really want to be eating that? My guess is, if you're reading this, you probably agree that the answer is, it doesn't, and you don't want to eat that. Combine that with the fact that this stuff really works (novel, isn't it?), it doesn't come in a petroleum-derived plastic bottle, and from a carbon-footprint standpoint, you're not supporting trucking heavy water-based detergents around all over the country, and you have yourself a great product. Give it a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed (unless you want your dishes to smell like fake lemons).
