I basically carry this everywhere I go in my house. The smell is lovely and makes things feel officially 'clean'. I have white formica countertops, which are a nightmare to keep stain-free, but this product has never let me down. It also does a great job of cutting grease. Sometimes I walk through my house with bottle in hand just looking for things to clean because I love this stuff so much.
Used in addition to the baking soda cleaner in my bathroom and it is sooo fresh and clean! I'm a permanent Mrs. Meyers convert for real. My entire bathroom smells like heaven. The lemon verbena is such a pleasant smell, strong, but not overwhelming. Can't wait to get the rest of the rest of the products.
My only complaint is that the directions on the bottle, for dilution are ambiguous. It clearly gives the concentration to make a gallon of cleaner for things like cleaning floors. And then it says that you can refill the spray bottle, but it doesn't clarify what the concentration is for that. Full smells way too strong, so I just assumed it's the same concentration as for the gallon, which was 1/4 cup of concentrated solution to each gallon of water. As the spray bottle is only 16 oz., that means you only put 0.75 mL in there. That seems like too little. I wish the dilution directions were listed for more than a gallon bucket of mop water.
I picked up a bottle of the Lemon Verbena multi-purpose cleaner at my local grocery store. Of course, I opened it and smelled it first. I've heard reviews from a group I belong to and finally remembered to take a peek and sniff. I have two potty trained, dog-door-having indoor dogs. After a long trip, I returned to the house smelling stale and like them. There were no accidents, but I got a good sense of what I've become nose blind to on a day to day basis. Now, granted the rugs needed vacuumed and the Swiffer run, etc...but I knew that the house needed something else FRESH, but not candles nor room sprays or wax melts (which I have used to little avail). Well, I wasn't crazy about the smell in the store, as I've been duped by other lemon smells only to hate them; but when I use this, it smells like an expensive, artisan, specialty soap. I don't, thankfully, smell the lemon. The smell of soap is exactly what I needed. It smells so clean in my house right now. Oh, and the smell lingers for at least a day... but I don't know how much longer than a day, because the next day, I want to use it on everything I can find. This product is a winner.
I cannot tell you just how amazing this product is. I use to be an avid Method Clementine user for multi surfaces but they discontinued making that scent. I would pass by the Mrs. Meyers products all the time iffy about giving it a try. I picked up the lemon verbana one day and have been hooked ever since. I use it on everything and the scent is invigorating. I've already stocked up on extra bottles just in case.
