I thought these towels would be great for our new house. I loved the color. I bought some and washed them right away before use. I washed them by themselves in warm water with All Free & Clear and dried on low. They came out a dingy light gray. The beautiful sea glass color is gone! All I can figure is that it must be the Microban treatment these towels are treated with. What a waste.

The price is right on these soft, fluffy, durable and highly absorbent towels. I have been using these in our home for a few years. I love them so much that I have been known to give them as a wedding, house-warming or Christmas gift. Definitely worth the investment, and much better in quality than the more expensive towels from another famous department store. I have and will recommend them to anyone interested in making a cozy home.

When I first got the towels, I was very happy with them until I realized that the color was fading. At first, I thought it was my imagination until I compared the color of a bath towel that got used and laundered more frequently, to a hand towel, and confirmed that the pretty sea glass green had turned into a celery green. Now, after owning the towels for 5 months now, and ALWAYS washing in cold water (as the tag states) they are now a light yellowish celery green. YUK!!

They are nice and soft towels. They are pretty absorbent, but not outstanding. They stop linting after three washes, as expected. The only minus is that they dry a little bit long, but I guess that for towels that thick it is normal. Overall, good purchase. Could cost a little bit less though... ;)
