Ziploc Freezer Quart Slider Storage Bags with Power Shield Technology 15 Count

Am not impressed,,l am 70 yrs old and have problems opening the regular ones,so l bought your sliders and have been useing them but all my meat and chicken and other stuff keeps getting freezer burn,more frost on the inside and there only a week old.

I had been a faithful Ziploc user for years... but NO more! The bag design has changed. The new bags are thinner and permit moisture, which lead to freezer burn. The seal and top sides easily tear, making the bags unusable. I've had to throw several bags away after only one use. Please revert back to the old version. Put QUALITY back into your bags and Ziploc name!

Good idea but I have used 12 of the 24 freezer gallon bags and every one has a really bad plastic "zipper pull". It doesn't stay on, when it comes off you have to open the bag and throw it away. Argh! Never buying these again. Good idea, bad execution.

These bags are well made- as expected by Ziploc. I always enjoy the slider as it makes for quick convenience. The bag seals perfectly and is air tight, which is key especially for freezer bags. On the contrary, i am not sure i have mastered the stand and fill quite yet, i may not be filling with the ideal contents. Anyhow- i would definitely get these again. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

What happened to the quality of ziplock bags? I used to be able to depend on these bags to hold up. This new design for quart bags easily split on the sides when you open them making them useless. I would say at least 50% of the bags did this. That's what I would expect from a cheaper brand, not EXPENSIVE ziplock bags! I won't be buying this brand again.
