Absolutely useless. I had previous versions of this container and used them for years to freeze soup. Eventually they wore out and I bought these as the most similar replacement option. They are difficult to open, they broke almost instantly, and the one that hasn't broke yet is a pain to dry because of the narrow edge. I literally get better containers for free with takeout.
I have been using ziplock containers for over 10 years. I loved them. The were the perfect sizes - large rectangular were my favourite. They stacked very well and they were strong and durable. I am so disappointed with the new style. The sizes are not useful and the quality is very poor - plastic is flimsy compared to the old version and other comparable brands. I am trying to find another replacement brand.
Like many others posting here I have had multiple containers break (especially at the corners) under normal use That's a shame because for me the sizes and shapes are perfect. I love the way they nest and stack for storage an when in use but I am going through lids at a rapid rate and have found the small square (sandwich sized) difficult to replace.
Awful they changed the construction and now they break easier and the size is no good for sandwiches. Once I tried ziploc I through out all my other ones out because the others suck and ziploc was better. Now you made them the same as the others. No thanks. Where can I get the older ones? I would rather paid more for them then these flawed container. I don't like the sizing. I like the old sandwich size because they were just right. Good for smaller left overs and sandwiches. What am I supposed to do with these now. They are just taking up space time to get rid of them.
Like a lot of the other reviewers on here, I am unsatisfied with the dimensions available in your new products. Many years ago you sold a container that was 5.5" x 5.5" x 2" tall. It was perfect for one meal-sized serving of stew or chili and had the added bonus of being able to be stacked 3 high and two side-by-side in a standard 6" high x 12" wide freezer shelf. It also had the ideal dimensions to fit a Ramen noodle square without having to breaking it up or add too much water. Is it too much to ask to get Ziploc to bring back the 5.5 x 5.5 x 2", 2.5 cup container? You have a lot of people clamoring for it, and they would likely sell like hot-cakes. But, what do I know--I'm just a customer.
