Very nice mattress pad. Stays in place. Fits well
this protector fit well on my deep mattress and remained soft without shrinkage after washing.
After trying several different mattress pads - most with that awful plastic lining - we saw this one and gave it a try, considering the price to be reasonable compared with most similar types. When it arrived and we put it on the bed, it was extremely comfortable!! The padding was soft and while we already have a very nice pillow top mattress - this pad made it even more comfy. I then waited for the true test - did it work? We bought it to protect the mattress from our aging dog. When the test came - it worked! So, we ordered a 2nd one so we can keep one on the bed at all times, even when the first is being washed. I recommend this pad to anyone who needs to waterproof/protect their mattress and the price is perfect. No uncomfortable/hot plastic that ruins in the dryer - even on low cycles. This pad washes and dries perfectly.
I had high hopes for this mattress pad and still should send it back, but the first time I put this on my daughter mattress (turning toddler room to big girl room - 3 yr old), the second corner just tore. When one makes up a bed, one puts one corner of the mattress pad on and then the other and the other followed by the last. I generally like to keep it tight, so I use opposite corners and ends to ensure a tight fit. Well, simply putting the second corner on the mattress, the "ribbing" that goes around the corners of the mattress, simply pulled off. I was very disappointed in the quality of the mattress pad. Not to mention that it does not fit tight on the mattress at all. Once I put the fitted sheet on the mattress, it began to crinkle underneath. I am very disappointed and should send it back, but I am not sure I want the hassle and will probably use it until it falls apart and then I will go and pick one up.
