These are utility knives with different blades and sizes. This makes them useful to cut fruits, vegetables, meat etc. They are super sharp and should be used carefully. Only thing I dislike is they are not dishwasher safe. I like that they come with a cap to protect the blades which makes it safer to use and store.

If you are limited on counter space and you don't want (or don't need) a traditional knife set in a chunky block, this is a nice starter set for you basic culinary needs. The sheath is a nice touch especially if you plan on storing them in a drawer. Hand wash only like any wooden handled knife should be. Not a fan of the size of the smallest knife. IMHO, it should be a tad bit smaller if it's listed as a parking knife. All in all, it's a good gift for someone just starting out (hello, first apartment) who might enjoy experimenting in the kitchen.

I really love these knives. Extremely well made and easy to use. I like that they come with the sleeves, as it's safer when reaching for them. They are very sharp, which I of course like. I've used them on fruits and veggies and no complaints. The handles feel very well made and like they will not easily fall apart. Overall, very good and attractive knives.

These are THE BEST, sharp, knives I've come across! What a nice set of knives. They are perfectly balanced in your hands! The paring knife has become my go-to when preparing meals (old-fashioned gal who prepares three meals plus snacks every day). The wood handles are awesome -- quite smooth -- with a great feel in my hand. They feel perfectly proportioned for my hands. The wood is smooth and light weight. I have an ancient knife rack hanging inside my cupboard door, and they fit perfectly in the slots. Honestly, these knives are sharper than a few very expensive ones I already own. These knives are a perfect price point, and I will be looking for these knives in other sizes too!

I was looking for a nice set for our camper. This set is the perfect size and does exactly what I need on our camping trips. They aren't the sharpest when you get them. I sharpened them and they work great. Not flimsy like a lot of the othe set's I've tried. Only 4 stars because I had to sharpen.
