Great product a "must have"!

We have owned for s few years now and irs3 been great, never failed on us, it takes a little bit longer than stove top rice but the result is always better, i been making oatmeal for breakfast and it comes out great, like restaurant quality good, have used the browning as well so, i will explore the other cycles, since every one is a positive experience.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Let me start by saying that I am not a new user of a multicooker, and I knew what to expect. Also I have a smaller size rice cooker, which I love and use a lot. I decided to try this multicooker because of it's volume (10 cups) and of a ceramic covering of an inner pot. I've used it a lot!! I made rice (twice), ratatouille, pork stew, baked chicken - it works great, and I am looking forward to test all the wonderful features, like delayed start. I still have to work on the cake - the one I made was happily consumed by my kids, but was not too pretty to offer guests. I have not tried a yogurt setting yet. Why did I remove one star: the rubber ring on the lid smells, and I remembered reading somewhere that you need to boil some water before starting to use the multicooker. There was no mentioning of it in the instructions. The instruction booklet that comes with the multicooker is very nicely done, and the recipes are doable (I used them as guidance mostly, adapting my own recipes for the cooker), but the font is very small and I can see people having trouble reading it. In the summary of cooking programs and cooking times it says that slowcook program min. time is 60 min - it is 2 hours, I have not found the way to make it 60 min. The markings on the inside of the pot, used for cooking rice, are barely visible. Overall it's a great appliance and I am very happy to have it in my kitchen.

I love rice pudding and this machine delivered. It was so perfect. There is so many things you can do with this machine, I can't wait to try out all the functions and recipes. I love this cooker but I'm not creative and I see that people are using it to make yogurt and it's really needing more recipes on the website. Just not enough there to make me use it to the extent of its possibilities. Please post more recipes!
