This is a must if you're a pregnant woman.
Works very well for what I needed! I have back problems and this does help!
This wedge works great for me. I love the back support it supplies. I would recommend this product.
The weight from your belly causes the back part of the pillow to put a little pressure on your back which is exactly what my back needed. I had to add a boppy wedge pregnacy pillow because my belly wasnt big enough to give the best pressure. I really think everyone would need that though. Eventually i had to sleep in a recliner. No pregnacy pillow would have prevented that.
I got these wedges because (despite how everyone assured me that I'd naturally stay off my back) I found myself six months pregnant waking up (or being woken up by my husband) lying flat on my back. Pillows next to my back didn't help, and I figured these were worth a try at half the price of a wrap-around body pillow. CONS: --These are not the most comfortable when together; they attach together via velcro and if you want to widen the distance between them, you find the scratchy velcro part tearing at your sheets and the other part of the velcro uncomfortable against your skin. You can put cloth between the strap and the bed to avoid damaging your sheets, but that is one more thing to fuss with. --As other reviewers have mentioned, it is impossible to just roll over in the night; you have to sit up, flip the pillows around and readjust their positioning before you can go back to sleep (if you use them attached as recommended). You can make yourself reasonably comfortable if you are willing to put up with/compensate for those two things, although I'd imagine there are several ways to be more comfortable. PROS: There's no way I could sleep on my back using these! I did get sick of the middle-of-the-night readjustments, so after a few weeks I experimented with pulling apart the wedges and just using the larger one on its side behind my back. It works. Not only is the velcro issue no longer a problem then, it felt much more like "normal" sleep and wouldn't allow me to roll on my back more than a 30 degree angle. I've opted not to, but it'd also be possible to put the smaller wedge under my stomach (the "valley" other reviewers have described). Overall, I'd say that if you're just looking for greater comfort when you sleep, you may try regular pillows first and then try these wedges (separated from each other) if that doesn't work and you're trying to avoid spending too much. But if you tend to roll on your back, these definitely help to re-train you in a way regular pillows can't.
