If I had seen this comforter in the store, I would never have picked it up. It's very unnattractive in the packaging, but when I put it on my bed, added sage green sheets, and purple & green pillows, the comforter looks great. Great look for the price!

We just bought our first house and I wanted the perfect comforter for our master room. I looked and looked and came across this. I loved it but was very concerned because of some of the other reviews. I decided to give it a try and am so glad I did. I loved it from the moment I picked it up at WalMart. It took a little longer than I expected but still not too long. Loved it even more when I put it on our bed!

After reading many of the reviews, I wasn't sure if I would like this bedspread or not...however, when I saw it for the first time I was very impressed! Yes, it does appear a bit different from the picture on this site...you can see a bit more of the green/tan colors in person. I was looking for something that would match a room with purples, greens and some silver/gray colors and that's what i found with this bedding. I was very pleased. I wish it would have come with the pillows in the picture, but went out and found accent pillows that match it perfectly...ones I like even better than those pictured. I definitely would recommend this item.

It's warm and poofy but not what I expected. When you put it on the bed the pattern on the comforter is glaringly obvious. It is a bunch of purple/lavender slashes about an inch long all over (If you zoom in and look at the pillow you will get a better idea). Many people had said they like it when they got it on the bed the dilemma we had is that we already had a busy carpet so the bedspread just didn't look right. I loved the site to store concept though! But I'll be taking this item back.

I read all of the reviews before I purchased as colors can be deceiving on line. One customer said she was disappointed until she put it on her bed. Knowing that, I too was disappointed UNTIL I put it on the bed - all of a sudden the zen came into focus. It leans towards lavender/taupe but as soon as accents are added it is lavender - and very peaceful.
