Better Homes & Gardens Shyla King Bedspread

Needed a quilt specifically with colors of peach and dark cream to match existing curtains, and this is perfect! Looks even prettier in person than on the website and just the right thickness, not too bulky and not too thin. I'm very happy with my purchase!

This is a nice well made bedspread, it is long enough to cover the box springs at the foot of the bed and still cover pillows at the head of the bed. The big issue with it is that the design on the surface of the bed only covers about two thirds of the length of the bed; the top one third has no design on the surface at all. I'm guessing the sham is meant to provide color and design but I didn't get a sham. The reason I like bedspreads is that I can fold it up over the pillows and not worry with a sham. There should be some color and design from head to foot, I have found a throw pillow and will likely make something else to help. Just be aware if you don't get the sham it looks very plain on the top at the head.

This queen spread looked great on the bed until I purchased a 4" mattress topper. It could have been a little longer and wider and I should have bought the king size but I didn't realize that the mattress topper would bring it up so high. It still looks great and with the "rusty" colored sheets I bought at Walmart it made a smart looking ensemble. It does not cover to the floor, but my white footboard makes for a pseudo-bedskirt. I hate bedskirts and will only buy bedspreads. I took a pic of it, but now I don't know how to send it here.....sorry!

The shams are lovely. Exactly the colors I was looking for.
