DieHard® DH-6A Fully Automatic Microprocessor Controlled Battery Charger, 12V/6V

This charger can take on any 12VDC wet cell, including the Gel Cells and the Adsorbed Glass Mat (AGM) cells, which are sealed. The 2 amp setting is perfect for safely charging the newer types awa the older "wet" cell that can use the higher amp charge rates from this charger. It's also an excellent value.

I needed a low-powered charger to restore my car batter and keep it charged, while keeping the price down. This Diehard charger delivers! A very smart charger, letting you choose from 2 to 6 amps. While charging, lights let you know where it's at. The manual says it also deals with "sulfated" batteries. I don't know what that it, but it's nice to know that it does.

It works great and charges my batteries like a charm. I do not know how I survived without it for such long time. I like the feature that automatically detect battery and operates the charging, in the meantime, I have some control over it, select amperage and type. Only thing might be its fan continues working even after fully charged (green light is on) and the charger should be in a resting status.

I use this to charge my motorcycle battery. Although I have not needed it for my car, I am confident it would work fine for that too. I was a little concerned at first when I heard it making some noise, until I read it had a fan to keep the microprocessor cool.

It's small size and light weight make it very convenient for any occasion. Works well. I am pleased with its performance at its low price.
