This is a great chopper to have on hand especially when you don't want to drag out the big food processor or food mandolin. I keep finding more and more ways (and reasons) to use it. I've also saved money by slicing vegetables for salads (no reason to buy pre-cut stuff) crushing my own graham crackers for crusts and making my own salsa - just to name a few. If you cook, you need one of these.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and tried it out last weekend. I used it to chop up some peanuts for some candy I was making and it worked very well. However, I need to learn how to put less in the chopper at any one time and not over-pulverize things. It's like anything new -- you have to use it a few times and see what works best. This chopper was certainly worth the money, and I got it at a very good price!

I used this once or twice a week for 3 months The tab that engages the safety mechanism broke off. It prevents the user from running the machine with the lid off. Now I know why I wan unable to register the warranty on this site after I bought it. Too many broken in the same fashion. Definitely a design/ manufacturing flaw!
