This was the best gift for my grandchildren. They love it! we have movie night every Friday and Saturday. One of my co-worker was telling me how she love this item for her children. She was right. My friends order this item on Saturday for her grandchildren.

This item is very difficult to clean. The red lower door below the large clear door can not be removed to remove the pop corn or to clean the unit. Manufacturer should redesign this unit for ease of use and to clean this unit

I bought this popcorn maker hoping I would have popcorn like at the movies. I also bought a case of 80 2.5oz packets of popcorn. I have used this item 5 times. All 5 times the popcorn has gotten stuck in the popper and burned. As the popcorn starts to pop; it will start coming out of the popper as it should. Then when it pops the corn faster it jams in the popper and I have to shut the machine off and pry the popcorn out with a fork. I am going to buy a bigger unit and see if that works better. Now I am stuck with 75 packets of popcorn.

I have wanted something like this for some time. My wife asked what I wanted for Christmas and this was it. She sent for it and made me use it whenit came. Thanks.

This pop corn popper is a wonderful novelty item. I run a non-profit music school and had an anniversary 'circus' theme. It was cute to have an "old timey" looking pop corn machine sitting out. However, due to the amount of pop corn I needed, I had to pop mine the night before and bag it up. The machine does well for small batches and would be good for a family movie night if you wanted to invest in something "fun". Is it better or worse than a traditional pop corn popper? NO. It is a good popper, but so are others I've tried. Popcorn does have a tendency to get caught in the sides of the drop down door making it a little inconvenient to get the pop corn out. The only thing I see wrong with this one is the lid to put in the corn and oil is on the wrong side. Being right-handed, I pour with my right hand and lifted the lid with my left. The handle, however, is on the right, making it awkward.
