ELITE 30" Range Hood, 600 CFM Blower, 2-Way

I bought this a few months ago and thought it was a lot quieter than it really is. I can't hear myself think with this thing on. Also, it did not come with lights and trying to find exactly which one to buy has been fruitless. Tried calling the 800 number and was on hold for so long my grey hairs were multiplying. So far, I am not impressed. I should have just gotten a microwave with a 450 cfm and might have been happier.

This vent hood is a beast. It is loud but also powerful. The lights are really nice and they have two settings. I have a Capitol Culinary range and this vent hood is sufficient.

The hood is streamlined and the vent is very powerful. The only thing that is disappointing is that when the lights are on the lowest setting they flicker so I always have to have them turned brighter even if I don't need it brighter.

I installed this range hood in my kitchen almost 2 years ago after examining and installing many other makes in clients homes. As a project manager renovating many kitchens, I found this unit very well built with a powerful exhaust blower and great lighting for the cooktop below. I am familiar with many others, but I chose this one. It is easily cleaned and has a sturdy, classical and professional design. Installation was simple with one person helping.

This is the second one that I bought. Loved the first one which is now in my rental property. The second in my new home. Installed it when I moved in. Have recommended this product to all my friends and neighbors. Very easy to keep clean. If you are tired of looking at that grease spot on your ceiling, this is what you want.
