Dirt Devil Envision Bagless Upright

This was the biggest waste of money. I will never buy another Dirtdevil. It only worked o.k. the first time I used it. The second time, I had to clean the filter, after cleaning it per the instructions given, I still had to go over places several times to pick anything up. The hose pops off from the side which of course causes loss of suction very frustrating. On bare floors, with the proper setting on the vaccuum, it just shoots the dirt all over the place. I am so disappointed.

I bought this vacuum only a few months back and I swear I spend more time cleaning out the product. It's supposed to be cleaning for me but all it does is leave a HUGE mess when I am done vacuuming. I would recommend this product to my worst enemy...I have two young children and I rely on a vacuum to pick up the small things on the floor that I can get to and all it does is leave lots of messes everywhere...When I take the hose attatchment apart it is filled with tons of little pieces of things and a lot of hair from the carpet. This vacuum has become my worst nightmare...so buyer beware...you with this product you definatly get what you pay for.

I thought the pretty blue color looked great when I took it out of the box. I plugged it in and started to vacuum. I have 3 kids, and my carpets get dirty fast. Right off I noticed how it didn't pick up everything, like little pieces of paper, it just blew them around the floor. I also would notice that after I vacuumed, there would still be specks of stuff on the floor. I dismissed it, thinking I just missed that spot when I vacuumed. I just vacuumed tonight, and I noticed that there was still stuff on the floor in the hallway, and I went over the same spot many times, and it didn't get picked up. Then I noticed that dirt was coming out the bottom as I ran it over my kitchen floor. My canister was not full, and the filter not very dusty, but chunks of dust were now blowing all over my kitchen floor coming for this vacuum! I should have stayed with my gut feeling about this vacuum when I noticed it not picking up things when I first used it. I will be returning this tomorrow, and steering clear of any other Dirt Devil brand. It is also pretty loud.

We bought this vacuum nearly a month ago as an interim vacuum after our Kirby became less than useless. We just didn't have the money for a really good vacuum so we figured this would be OK for a few weeks. So far it's actually exceeded our expectations. The suction is great; way better than I expected. I love the long attachment; the suction on that is better than any attachment I've ever used. The other attachments I haven't used yet. The filter does get dirty very quickly and has to be cleaned a lot and the hose does pop out every once in a while. It just takes a second to pop back in; no big deal. So far I think this is a great buy for the money.

This hardly sucks up dirt, the hose always falls out, the roller broke after 1 month and is not covered, I don't expect to have to repair something after a month of use. I had a cheap ($30.00) Eureka for years and it still works - I got this for my upstairs rooms, I wouldd rather lug the old vacuum up and down stairs at least it works!!!!!! Don't BUY!!!
