Danby DAR440BL Counter High Refrigerator

The fridge arrived with a small dent on the rear right bottom of the fridge. When running, the thermostat appears to be defective. The temperature of the fridge varies from 42 to 38 degrees maximum no matter how the thermostat is set. That is too high for perishable food. Danby is currently working with me to have it fixed.

Love the size and no freezer compartment allows for extra space. Very nice.

When our first Danby refrigerator broke after 16 years we decided to look for a new one. We have a small space and found the comparable Danby and it has worked out great!

Great fridge, very quiet, and perfect for office. So much room for items, and the can holder is perfect. It was hard to find a fridge without a freezer, as I did not need one for work.

This small fridge is only good for storing things, like soda pop, that won't go bad if kept above 40 degrees for extended periods of time. Once the internal temperature reaches the set point, it stops cooling and waits until the internal temperature rises about 10 degrees before starting to cool again. (monitored over two days without opening the door) Since the fridge works by just cooling a plate at the back, the plate can actually freeze and freeze anything in contact with the plate. I'm a bit disappointed.
