Step2 Fort Slide-away

Set up was reasonably easy with the right tools and I'm a Grandma. The structure of the slide and tent seem to be very durable. The heavy-weight anchors really made a difference in keeping the slide from tipping. I think my grandkids and neighbor kids will have many happy hours enjoying this slide.

this slide is great for my grandkids. They love it. But, get ready for some real work putting it together. Be sure to look carefully at the illustrations. Be sure to have a mallet too. After you assemble it be sure to pat yourself on the back for the hard work. Kids will enjoy it.

I would prefer a better way of securing the top of the tent pieces to the bottom of the slide, but overall good product. Kids love it, and it stands up to abuse. Also, would prefer if plastic slide and stairs were solid, instead of hollow. Could lead to problems as it seems with any weight, it might bend/give. 1 and 3 year old have no problem and it is great to cure those winter time can't go out and play blahs.

This slide is tall enough for fun for my four-year-old granddaughter yet safe enough for my two-year-old triplet grandchildren. There's plenty of headroom inside for a fort too! Although assembly was challenging (. . . and I've assembled countless toys), it was well worth the effort since this toy promises to be a favorite for indoor and outdoor fun for years to come. Camp outs and sleepovers are already being planned!
