i bought for my grandson's first Birthday. i also bought plastic balls to put in it. my grandkids had a blast in it.
My 3 year old loves it! We've been using it for about 2-3 weeks now and so far it's holding up very well. We've had to top up the air a couple of times but my daughter uses it every day and thrashes herself around in there doing flips and rolls. It's gotten her to stop jumping on/off the beds and couches, so I'm happy.
Unfortunately, I will be returning the product to Walmart. The very first day we opened it for our toddler to play with, it failed. At the beginning it inflated nicely, but it didn't even last her 2 hours before it started to uninflate. We thought maybe one of the tips had opened while she was playing so we tried to reinflate it but it still came down. It was very disappointing because my daughter has been obsessed with jumpers and we were so excited to give her this.
I bought this bouncer for my 3 year old's birthday party. After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how it would arrive so I made sure to order it plenty ahead of time and get it inflated. No issues at all. I used the pump I had from an air mattress and it was fine. My toddler LOVES it.
I was hesitant about this product at first, given the handful of negative reviews on here and that other Jungle River site about seams bursting after only a few days of use, difficulty in finding patch kits, etc. I bought it anyway, since it was a substantially lower price point than a "real" bounce-house (attached to an always-on blower). I could not be more pleased with the great value and hours of pleasure my little 2-year-old daughter has gotten out of it thus far, and fully expect this bouncer to last our family for a year or more without isue. The materials are good quality, and it's very easy to inflate with a household Air Compressor with a rubberized tip attachment. The only thing I can think of that would cause the "Negative Reports" would be if those owners OVER-INFLATED their bouncers, had too many kids inside at once, or if their kids are exceptionally heavy or rough. It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure out that the bottom-layers should be inflated "firm" enough to hold its shape, but "soft" enough to be able to absorb the shock of kids bouncing around. If you've got it inflated at rock-hard levels, of course the seams will eventually burst with usage -- there's nowhere for the extra air pressure to go. (Hint: the tips of the castle towers appear to be designed for this purpose). In the unlikely event I do manage to get a tear or puncture, I'd imagine a quick and dirty patch could be cut out of a heavy-duty Ziploc Freezer Bag, and applied/secured with liberal amounts of Hot-Glue. ;-) For me, if this product lasts more than 4 months (and I expect it to go beyond 12 months), I've already got my money's worth from the smiles on my daughter's face. Would recommend, and would buy again.
