Air Hogs Mini Havoc Helicopter

This is a "micro"-version (4.7" long) of the larger original Air Hogs "Havoc" Heli (7.5" long). Unfortunately it does not perform nearly as well as the larger version. It is extremely "twitchy"; it darts about like a small insect and is nearly impossible to control. Compounding this problem, there is a delay in the control response. I was not able to keep it from spinning even by careful trimming. The control box is clever in that it stores the heli when not in use and only requires 4 AA batteries (vs 6 batteries required by the big Heli), but the controller does not seem to work as well and the slider controls are not as functional as the joy-stick controls on the big Heli. I have several of the larger Havoc Helis and strongly recommend them - they are capable of controlled indoor flight. Since this small heli generally costs more than the big one, it is NOT a good value. I DO NOT recommend this "micro" heli.

I bought this toy for my nephew for Christmas 2008. He loves it. He is 3 yrs old and has made this toy one of his most favorite. I know this because it is the only toy he goes to bed with at night. and it stay in his bed.

Air Hog Mini HVOC - I bought this for my 9 year old nephew James for Christmas and he said to give it a good recommendation "it's good".

We purcgased this for our 10yr. old Grandson for Christmas. It was so much fun watching he and his Dad playing with it. It took a little bit before he was able to get it airborn. Once he did it was a blast to watch!

I bought this for a 11 year old boy. He loved it! It was quite small and I'm not sure how it will hold up--this is a pretty rough kid. However, the first thing he said was, "it's cute!" He was very excited and couldn't wait to try it. He didn't seem to have too much trouble getting a handle on it. For the price, I'm very satisfied.
