Purchased this for our sons 4th birthday. Pulled the vehicle out of the box and the back wheels (supposed to have been assembled as part of the drive train) and the right back wheel fell off..replaced the cap that had fallen off and put the wheel back together. My son rode it for 10 minutes and the back wheels fell off. A huge disappointment!!!!

Mom bought my son the Ford F-150 for X-mas 2008. Loved it! Well now my daughter is getting to where she was tired of sitting shotgun and wanted to drive. So, we bought her the Mustang. Its a lighter vehicle, so steering is effortless in motion. And I really like that it has 3 different seat positions so that the car can still be used as my daughter grows. Again though, traction is an issue, just like the F-150 our son has. I'm gonna take care of that with some old bicycle tubes of yard tractor tubes. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to others (and I have already). My kids love their cars, and drive them over to the neighbors to play with their kids. They have a little Dodge Viper (other brand) and the kids just chase each other around. I do advise that you purchase a Spare Battery. Battery life is great but my kids wont get out of the car until it dies. So a spare battery or the 2-hour quick charger is a must for extended playtime..

This mustang is GREAT. My 3 year old can drive it no problem, and he feels like such a big guy. The fast speed is fast enough for him to get a thrill, but not too fast that I can't jog beside him easily. My 1 year old also loves to be the designated passenger. The seatbelts do come out if you tug hard enough, which is not great... Size-wise, this is for 2-4 year olds. It is pretty small. The radio and the horn are great additions as well.

My 2 boys love this car. They are 3 1/2 and 20 months and they ride together. Have not had any problems, but have not had the car long. My older son rides several times a day and the battery lasts and then we charge it over night. It does have seat belts and a deeper seat than some others, so I don't worry about them falling out. It was on sale so that helped with the price.

My son got this car from his Grandpa for his 1st Christmas. He was obviously too young at that time to ride it but when summer came we put pillows behind him so he could reach the pedal. He did great. Now at 3 years old he still loves this car and we no longer have to use pillows. We have had the car for 3 years and it is still going strong. The battery seems to last forever. My sister and I also got in it and drove it, we are obviously too big for this car but it drove us for 3 blocks before getting tired and then we had to push it back. So the weight limit is pretty good. It has with held bad weather since it is not sheltered, there is not much wear and tear, just minor scratches from my son crashing it into things. Overall it is a wonderful product and lasts a long long time. Every child should have one of these they are great.
