[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13-year old claimed this for her room so she can go to sleep under the stars. She likes learning about the constellations and being able to see them. Cool that you get to put it together yourself. Also love that it takes batteries instead of having to be plugged in and stuck somewhere.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and i were very much so looking forward to receiving this planetarium star projector. It looked so cool online. When it arrived we were eager to opening it up and see the constellations. Upon opening I realized this is a much more involved DIY project than i thought. Infact it involves entirely assembling this thing, including the wiring. We like to do little projects but this was much more involved and actually took us over 2 hours. This set came with batteries, but they were corroded and covered in red powder straight out of the package. I had to toss them and go out buy a couple of batteries. When it came to popping out the stars with a thumbtack it was a HUGE pain in the butt! There were so many to poke out and the size of the hole ends up being too small. I had to go back with a small nail and make them bigger. Then came turning the top into a dome and taping the two halves together. This was also not easy to do. After everything was finally done we were anxious to see the stars FINALLY!.... It was a dud. Even though i used a small nail to make the holes bigger, the stars still barely shined through. Also the included black tape didnt hold the pieces together for long. A few minutes later it separated. And the next day the battery case fell right off the bottom. The adhesive that was included for the battery case failed to hold the weight of it. After my experience i would not recommend. It was alot of work, took a long time to complete and ended up in the trash because it kept falling apart.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! Not only was this a super fun project to do with my daughter, but the reward she got the night we did it, her reaction was priceless! Her room was illuminated with stars everywhere. She walked into her room when it was dark and she was in awe! This Discovery Mindblown - Toy DIY Planetarium Star Projector was not only rewarding to put together with some fun & patience but a very rewarding after she enjoys every night knowing she made it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my daughter lovesss to look at the stars and planets. so i was really looking forward to this projector. the quality is as expected. it is plastic but a durable plastic which is nice with little kids who are bound to pick up and drop it. my biggest complaint is the lack of options/content. your only options are the discs provided. this was very easy and self explanatory to set up, my daughter (4yrs old) was able to figure it out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this Toy Space and Planetarium Projector. He was so happy when he got it. He has a galaxy room and this was perfect for his room. At night time he likes to have the stars on his ceiling and walls. He also likes the planets. The show very clear and are detailed. My son uses it every night so I bought rechargeable batteries for it. And I like that it has a timer on it so it's not on all night.
