[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was really cool and my daughter LOVED it! After using the included tools to excavate the bones we pieces them together to make a standing dinosaur! It was so neat finding the different bones! It is messy though and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars, make sure to do this outside or on some newspaper for easy clean up! Such a great way to learn and do something so fun at the same time!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far one of the best toys that we ever got for our youngest. He spent hours chipping away at the product for 2-3 hours and then spent more time cleaning and putting together. Already ordered other ones and the skeleton after is amazing to display in a room. Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grand son is loving this he's actually taking it really slow to do it right. I highly recommend this to any grandparent or even parent who can't find the gift to give a child who is very picky. I know this because I'm also getting one for my 12 year old niece for her birthday.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had fun doing this with my 7 year old granddaughter, who is a big dinosaur fan! You are given tools to chip away at the plaster rock to unearth the bones of a T. Rex. You then put the bones together to build a 3D skeleton model. Bones are a thick plastic ,thick enough not to get damaged during the evacuation process and sturdy enough to piece together. This was fun and educational as well, introducing the science of paleontology. It took over 2 hours to complete, also introducing the virtue of patience! We placed the plaster in a shallow box to reduce the mess.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this because our daughter is really into dinosaurs at the moment. The idea of this is really good and sounds fun. However, it takes a really long time to get to the fossils. It is a bit messy and kind of loud. The wood tools aren't the best which is why it takes so long. I understand it's for kids so sharp tools wouldn't be safe. I even tried wetting the clay and still was taking a very long time. Just wish it was a tad easier for the kids to break through to find the buried fossils.
