Leap Frog Leapster Pet Pals Software

My daughter who is now 7 recieved her leapster and this game when she was 4 or 5 and this is still a favorite. Don't hesitate to buy this one or the leapster if you're questioning that. My daughter also has a dsi and still comes back to her leapster to play this game!

My daughter loves this game! The teaching methods are very clever i.e. learn to right letters by drawing the line and watch your dog walk it. That is her favorite activity. She is quickly learning that she needs to listen to the narrator to find out if there is anything special that she needs to know for a game. There are plenty of activities that "grow" with your children and keep their interests for a long time! I'm excited to see what the other Leapster games have to offer!!!

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson for christmas. He enjoyed it so much , I had to literally take it from him to charge it again ! The game is fun for his age, but also teaches him to listen and follow the games intructions,as they are announced outloud during each phase of game. The only thing he didn't like, is there are only 3 dogs to choose from to have as a pet. It was a joy to have bought him something he can play for hours and learn at the same time.

My daughter just got a Leapster 2 for her 5th birthday along with 3 games. This seems to be her favorite game. She has played it nonstop for 2 days. It helps her follow directions, write letters and be reponsible for caring for the dog she chooses. She keeps thanking us for getting her this game.

both my 5yr old girls like this game plus they love animals it's entertaining and educational !! teaches responsibility with a dog as well as numbers and abc's and to follow directions and holds their attention span for a while they get to draw letters and hear its sound and even write/spell their name with game a plus for all 5 yr olds going to KG school now
