I like how you don't have to struggle getting the ink and I've been using it for about a month and it still works excellent. I would definitely buy more pilot brand pens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster and Pilot. The Precise Varsity Pen is a great fountain pen option. The color comes out rich and bold. The biggest pro is that it doesn't smudge! The only downside is that the ink may need a good shake every now and then to complete longer use with the pen.

The ink appears to be very good quality, and the application is very smooth and not runny at all. In fact, it writes just as smooth as a ballpoint gel pen. Comfort could be improved in regards to where you grip the pen. Maybe a smoother transition to where the cap seats on the pen. Packaging could be more descriptive and have a better look to reflect the look of the pen.
