Great Value has a lot of really good versions of name brand products and these tots are one f them. Whether you cook them in the oven or your air fryer, the result is crispy potato goodness around the edges and a nice softish middle. Perfect for dipping into your favorite sauce (I like ranch, marinara, or guacamole) or making a tot casserole using Southwest or even Italian American ingredients, these little nuggets of yummy potatoes can be quite versatile.I prefer them to the name brand, not just for the savings, but these don't get hard bits after cooking like I have experienced. I definitely recommend.
My husband and I love Great Value Taters! So simple to prepare, especially when we pair it with Great Value fish filets... 26 minutes later and it's fish and chips better than take out. Truly a great value... every bit as good as the name brand for so much less!
These Great Value taters are convenient and cook up evenly. They have a good balance of seasoning and crisp up nicely in the oven. I use them as a side dish with breakfast or dinner. They are affordable compared to name brands and still deliver good taste and texture.
I pop these in my toaster oven on tinfoil, lightly sprayed so they don't stick, on toast for 15 minutes (you could also use the oven setting of course) sprinkle with some salt, let them brown up a bit (so they're not mushy) and they're just fine. I would imagine you can put other seasonings on them as well and they come out just fine.
i usually throw these in the air fryer for 8 minutes for a quick snack. When they are done, i put some ranch dressing and barbeque sauce on them, and it is awesome! i have seen some restaurants do the whole added shredded pork with cheese and ranch and barbecue sauce, could easily make a meal out of it. My son likes them crisper, cooks them about 10 minutes in air fryer, just adds some salt when they're done and eats them with ketchup. i but these at least once a week.
