Sony - Sonnar T FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA Lens for Most a7-Series Cameras - Black

I got a great deal on this lens from Teds Electonics for 45% off. The item showed up 2 days later and was in perfect condition. I have been using it non-stop since I bought it.

Bought this lens with my first Sony body and it does not disappoint. Amazingly sharp for any photography type but really shines with portraits. Very smooth bokeh all around with little distortion effects

With no previous exposure to Sony Alpha system. I am pleasantly surprised how well this Len performs despite it was launched years ago. One of the sharpest lens ever used with pleasant colour and bokeh. The AF is doing well wide open. Only the 55mm focal length makes it slightly tele compared to the 40/50mm lens

This was the first lens i purchased for my A7iii. It's a fantastic lens, creates beautiful depth of field and is great in lower light conditions. Highly recommend.

This lens justifies the price. Mates perfectly with a7c to maintain a compact but very powerful combo. The evf on the camera had me wondering a bit about how the photos would translate, but once uploaded, I'm blown away by the sharpness and bokeh. Low light performance is excellent- I've yet to wish for a flash for any indoor shot with any light available. Highly recommend.
